Global agencies, countries and corporations (airlines, oil refineries, coal plants and gas based power plants, shipping companies, oil companies) all need big carbon offsets.
Currently the carbon credit market is facing large scrutiny because of the opaqueness, lack of liquidity and outright fraud in some cases.
Carbon footprint reduction does not start by funding projects around the world, it starts right here at home. Why would someone reduce their carbon at home if there is no incentive to do so?
